Luan Lawrenson-Woods is a woman that took a shitty situation, did the work and then immediately looked for opportunities to support the women coming up behind her. Having endured a cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, medical menopause, preventative surgery to remove her ovaries and then the double whammy of surgical menopause, she is now a fierce advocate for self advocacy, informed questioning and shared decision making when it comes to your health.

And in an Australian first, Luan has teamed up with with FRACS qualified specialist surgeons to host Instagram Live Q&As about breast reconstruction to support women facing breast recon surgeries. These Lives are called Breast Recon 101 and you can find out more about these here.
